Just returned from a fantastic week at Old Windmill Cottage and Barn, we all had such a wonderful time. Melanie was the perfect host, she was so friendly, accommodating and had lots of useful suggestions throughout our stay. Both the Barn and the Cottage are very well appointed, the pool was warm and clean, the jacuzzi immaculate and the games room wàs great fun. The views are incredible and the very quiet and rural location was great for exploring both North and South beaches / towns. Thank you, Melanie. We hope to be back.

Lovely cottage with amazing garden! Perfect for our King Charles spaniel! Hot tub & pool beautiful.. If only weather had been better we would have used the pool more!

Absolutely beautiful had a 2 night stay with my partner and dog there is so much room for him to run around and it’s completely secured so there’s no way of him running off. The cottage scenery decoration and style is gorgeous. Hottub is 10:10 with the views over the fields and the pool is lush being big enough to have a proper swim in. Will come back for sure genuinely one of the nicest places I’ve been to in the UK.

We are a family of 5 (plus one small dog) and have stayed in both the barn and cottage twice. On both occasions, our stay was incredible. The facilities of both the barn and cottage are of a very high standard and Mel is a wonderful host. The pool, hot tub and garden are also wonderful. I would highly recommend having a car whilst staying at this property, as there are many beautiful locations to visit in the nearby area.

Just on the way back from a lovely week and didn’t want to leave! Despite the weather not being great we still had a great time. The location is great and we managed to visit loads of places. We loved the hot tub, pool & pool table. Everything was spotless. Even Daisy the dog loved her stay! Thanks Mel for being a great hostess 😁

What a great week in Cornwall, Mel & Laurie where like old friends making sure you we were having a good time. Coming up with suggestions of where to visit and which restaurants to eat at. The Barn & Cottage are beautifully decorated and everything has been thought about to ensure it is like a home from home. The location is central to everything and we didn’t need to travel too far for great days out and things to do. Thanks to you both we will be back very soon to explore this wonderful part of the country.

We have stayed at a number of holiday lets in Cornwall and this one is up there with the best, if not THE BEST. The location and properties sell themselves especially with the swimming pool and jacuzzi on offer but what makes this extra special are the added touches that you don’t get with a normal holiday let. The robes, slippers and toiletries make you feel like you’re on a spa break and the addition of a pool table means that whatever the weather there is always something to do onsite. Mel and Lawrie are the perfect hosts and make your stay exceptional from arrival until it’s time to leave.

We cannot fault our stay. Amazing setting; beautiful comfortable accommodation and lovely hosts make a winning formula. We have such happy memories.
